10th European LS-DYNA Conference 2015

This biennial 3 day event took place between 15 - 17 June in Würzburg, Germany and was hosted by DYNAmore who are a reseller of the LS-DYNA solver and LS-OPT optimisation software. The event featured an extensive agenda with over 180 user and developer presentations of renowned speakers from industry and academia (click this link for the papers). In addition, workshops and specialist seminars gave an opportunity to find out various aspects of the code in practice.

Simpact attended the event as it was an ideal opportunity to meet up with our established CAE network, develop new business relationships and a place for our analysts to exchange their experiences and findings with non-linear analysis with other LS-DYNA users across the globe.

As with all LS-DYNA conferences, the social calendar was one of the best aspects of the event with over 450 delegates staying in the beautiful historic city of Würzburg. The gala dinner was held at the end of the 2nd day and involved several speakers and entertainment.
