Full time. 9am to 6pm at first. Flexible thereafter on demonstration of responsibility

Job Description

CAE Engineer in the field of product development using experimental testing and numerical methods

Your work;

Identification and interpretation of mechanical load requirements of a system, component or part
Interpretation of design definitions into analysis models and FEA model build
Interpretation of CAD and engineering drawings
Material mechanical property characterisation from laboratory experiments such as quasi-static and dynamic testing
Operation of in-house CAE hardware such as our high-speed camera and impact test facilities
Building and testing of prototypes

Your role in our company;

Working alongside other junior and senior team members on engineering projects
Applying engineering skills/experience to produce design recommendations
Assisting with our R&D focused activities including liaising with relevant customers and academic partners

For the above, you will follow the processes as laid down in the Simpact ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System
